SCHENECTADY – On Monday afternoon, November 8, 2021, Ethel L. Kenfield was welcomed into the presence of her Lord.
She was born in Mechanicville on September 13, 1928 a daughter of the late Ross and Ida (Searles) Clough.
Ethel was a loving and caring wife and mother to her nine children. She was employed at Coyne Industrial Laundry, Inc. for over twenty years, retiring in 1990. She was a member of Duanesburg-Florida Baptist Church in Duanesburg for over twelve years. She enjoyed crocheting and reading and loved Jeopardy!
Ethel was preceded in death by her husband, Albert E. Kenfield in 2005.
She is survived by her children, Albert R. (Debi) Kenfield, Marilyn (Wayne) Sweet, Janet (Harold) Boniecki, Robin (Walter) Deery, Danny (Holly) Kenfield, Tammy (Ronald) Maslanka, Nancy (Leonard) Thomas, Jeffrey Kenfield and Gail (Michael) Norton. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, many great grandchildren; a sister, Rosemarie Blattner and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Rd, Schuylerville, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Community Hospice, 445 New Karner Rd. Albany, NY 12205. Online condolences may be expressed at www.NewComerAlbany.com
