Ethel M. Vadakin, 73, passed away on Monday, August 1, 2022 at St. Peters Hospital with her loving family by her side.
She was the daughter of the late John and Ethel (Hurlbut) Voss. Ethel was the devoted wife of over 41 years to the late John Vadakin Sr.
Ethel enjoyed going to any casino and spending time with her granddaughter, Jazzlynne.
In addition to her parents and her husband she was predeceased by her siblings; Shirley (William), Janice (James), Francine (George) and Gloria (Edward).
Ethel is survived by her children, Heidi (Richard) Harwood, John Vadakin, Jr. and Jason Vadakin. She was the proud grandmother of her cherished granddaughter Jazzlynne. She is also survived by her brother John and her sister Barbara (Michael) and several nieces, nephews.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet, New York on Tuesday August 9, 2022 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 pm at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow the service at Memory Gardens, Colonie, New York.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to your local humane society.
