Albany- Eugene C. DiNova, 62, passed away on Monday, November 26, 2018.
Born in Albany on December 12, 1955, a son of the late August and Marie Silvano DiNova. A lifelong resident of the area, Eugene was a graduate of Albany High School. Eugene previously worked for the Albany Public School System.
Eugene was a foodie at heart and loved being around his family. He had an amazing sense of humor, was kind and always compassionate. Eugene was an avid sports fan when it came to baseball and football, especially the New York Yankees and New York Giants. He had a soft spot in his heart for animals. Eugene will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Eugene is survived by his sisters, Donna Colby & Christine DiNova (Eric); and his brother, August DiNova; many nieces and nephews. Eugene is also survived by many old neighborhood friends and his canine buddy, Maggie.
There will be no formal services for Eugene at this time. Memorial donations can be made to the Mohawk Humane Society, 3 Oakland Ave, Menands, NY, 12204.
