COLONIE - Eugene (Flip) G. Dyer, 81, formerly of Colonie, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday March 22, 2005 at St. Peters Hospital. He was born in Albany and was a US Navy veteran, serving during WWII.
Flip was employed with Tobin Packing in West Albany for many year before retiring to Ocala, FL. He resided with his daughter in Schenectady for the past year. Flip was a life member of the Fuller Road Fire Department. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, June Dyer . He is survived by his son Gene Dyer; his daughter Donna LaCaze; son in law W.H. LaCaze. He is the grandfather of John Gurren and his wife Amy and Christy Bernard and her husband Mark. Great grandfather of Quinn Bernard. Brother of Stella Stockard.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
