Eugene H. Baister

SEVERANCE, NY – Eugene H. Baister, 77, passed away on Friday, May 25, 2012 after a long, courageous battle with Parkinson's Disease, with his loving family by his side. Born in Utica, NY he was the son of the late Frank and Stella Baister. He retired from Lucent Technologies in Utica after nearly forty years of service.

Gene is the beloved long time companion of Connie North. He is the devoted father of Michael Baister, Kim Suwek and Lori Baister and cherished grandfather of Nick, Hillary, Kyle, Megan, Meredith and Ryan. He is the loving brother of Delores Seubert. Also surviving is his sister-in-law,Josie Jados.


Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. Interment will be in Memory Gardens, Colonie.
