Eugene Haynes

Eugene Haynes of Albany , NY parted this life peacefully on November 16, 2017 at St. Peters Hospital. Eugene was born in Alabama on August 10, 1940 to the late Anna Mae McKenzie. Eugene was educated in the Alabama school system and later relocated to Albany, NY in the 1960's.

Eugene was a faithful employee of Janatronics for over 15 years. Eugene had a passion and love for people. He enjoyed spending time with family and being around many friends. Eugene loved to walk and was known to walk all over Albany. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed fishing, going to the casino and he loved to play the Lottery Numbers. Eugene will be missed by all the city of Albany that had the pleasure of meeting him on his daily journeys.

He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved daughter Lolita (Marshay) Haynes, his son Jermaine Haynes, his son in law Lewis Watkins, step-son Lorenzo Sloan, daughter in law Jowana Haynes. His grandchildren Rashiek Haynes, Nakira Haynes, Beeliek Austin, Tishawn Austin, Armani Watkins, Jamarion Blunt and Jamya Haynes. He also leaves to cherish a very special friendship Mr. Nathaniel Parker Jr. and Barbara Jordan.

A celebration of Eugene's life will be held on December 1, 2017 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY. Calling hour at 10am with a service of celebration immediately following at 11am. Interment will take place at Albany Rural Cemetery Menands, NY.
