Eugene J. Brennan, 76, passed away peacefully on January 29, 2014 at his home with his family by his side.

He was born in Albany, NY to the late Patrick and Roseanna (Murphy) Brennan.
Eugene worked as a chemical man with Morgan Linen in Menands.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his loving wife, Jeannette and three brothers.

Eugene is survived by his children, Charles (Lynn) Brennan, Mark (Betsy) Brennan, Eugene (Taniyaa) Brennan, John (Lisa Cozy) Brennan, Joseph (Michelle) Brennan and Tammy (Dan) Bowles. He is the cherished grandfather of 16 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He is the brother of Mary Brennan, Elaine Vincent, Rose Marie Ashworth and Jim Brennan.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society Memorial Processing Center 6725 Lyons St East Syracuse, NY 13057-0007 in Eugene's memory.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 3, 2014 at 12:00 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. Calling hours will precede the service from 10 to 12 at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Memory Gardens, Colonie.
