Eugene C. Soule, Sr, affectionately known as Gene was born in Waterville, ME on May 22, 1932 to the late Nina Mae Jones and Clifton Eugene Soule; however Gene was raised by his adopted family, the late Joseph and Mandy McClean.
In 1951 Gene joined the US AirForce, Fort Williams, ME as an Airman serving until 1955 at which time he received an Honorable Discharge from Holloman Air Force Base, New Mexico. After relocating to New York Gene worked at Sunoco Oil Company for many years and Mohawk Paper Mill where he retired.
Gene departed this life peacefully at his residence on May 2, 2020 with his family by his side. He was predeceased by his birth parents, adoptive parents, one brother Fred Searcy, one sister Mary McClean, and one granddaughter Zaria Monet.
Loving memories will be cherished by his wife of 64 years Annette Soule, his children Eugene (Gino) Soule (Lorraine) of Troy, NY, Roslyn Soule of Newport News, VA, and Andre Soule (Eboni) of Williamsburg, VA. He was PopPop to eight grandkids and fifteen great grandkids.
Those that knew Gene knew of his great sense of humor, and mostly his "trash" talking. He will be greatly missed by all. The family would like to give a special thank you to the Hospice Team that assisted with his care.
A private burial will take place at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
