Eva Powell

SCHENECTADY, NY – Eva Powell, 86, passed away on Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at Ellis Hospital. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Kenesaw and Ida Swann. She was a resident of Schenectady since 1963. Eva enjoyed gardening and spending time outdoors. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family. Eva was the wife of the late Raymond P. Powell. She is the mother of Pamela, Linda, Raymond, Tony, Wanda and Ramundo Powell. She is the sister of Harriet Brown, Grace Epperson, Roy Swann, Vincent Swann and Iola Henderson. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park, Colonie.
