Evelina Robustiano, 84, of Glenville, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2025 surrounded by her loving family, at St. Peter's Hospice.
Evelina was born in Cosenza, Italy on April 24, 1940 to the late Luigi and Carmella (Ziccarelli) Ruperto.
Evelina married the love her life, Riccardo, in Italy in 1964. They moved to the US shortly after, eventually settling in Upstate New York.
Evelina enjoyed cooking, baking, making homemade sauce, pasta, and cookies. Her kitchen was always open to whomever stopped by. No one ever left without a full belly and a goodie bag. Evelina had a passion for sewing. She was a talented seamstress and enjoyed using that talent for family and friends . She loved music and dancing. Music could often be heard playing while she was in the kitchen.
Evelina proudly worked at the Teresian House in Albany for many years before retiring. In their retirement she and Riccardo lived in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, where they enjoyed their golden years together.
In addition to her parents and husband, Evelina was predeceased by her brothers; Luigi, Vittorio, Carmine and Umberto Ruperto.
Evelina was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her loving daughters, Anna, Giulia and Maria, grandchildren Marisa, Angela, Faelynn, Christian and Samantha as well as one great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.
Evelina's grandchildren were one the greatest joys of her life.
