Evelyn Splatt

DELMAR – Evelyn M. Splatt, 84, died on Monday, February 14, 2005.
Evelyn was born on December 24, 1920 in Albany to the late August E. and Margaret Weiss Splatt. She was a graduate of Albany High School and worked at Montgomery Ward for 42 years as an executive secretary and other positions.
Evelyn was a life long member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church serving as Sunday School Teacher, choir member, Braille team and secretary.
Evelyn is survived by her sister-in-law, Louise B. Splatt of Albany; two nieces, Shirley L. Splatt of Albany and Linda L. (Greg) Gersch of Valatie and several cousins. She was predeceased by her brothers, Richard C. and Everett E. Splatt.
A graveside committal service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Prospect Hill Cemetery in Guilderland.
Arrangements being handled by the New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home in Colonie.
