Evelyn T. Dushane

COLONIE-Evelyn T. DuShane, 88, of Colonie passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at St Peter's Hospital. Evelyn was born in Albany, NY the daughter of the late Edward and Helen (Dott) Moutray. She has resided in Colonie all of her life. Evelyn waitressed at Albany County Airport for over 20 years. She enjoyed going to Saratoga Casino, camping and boating on the river. Evelyn's greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Evelyn is survived by her beloved children Dan DuShane (Patty), Sandy Ellis and Linda Maynard (Mike); her loving grandchildren Rick, Chad, Debbie, Michael A., Joe, Michael, Tammy and Lori; her great grandchildren Meghan, Julie, Joey, Nicholas, Lilly and Lindsey; and by her loving dog companion Lucky.

In addition to her parents, Evelyn was predeceased by two sons Jerry and Billy DuShane.

Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 PM on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Interment will be at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie.
