Faith M. Sandles

Faith Meyer Sandles, 72, passed away peacefully on December 26, 2014 at St. Peters Hospital with her husband by her side.
She was born in Albany, and was the daughter of the late Henry and Anita (Witte) Meyer.
Faith was the former director for the Y-Teen program for the Troy YWCA; she was the founding director for the Cohoes Senior Citizens Center. Faith also worked for New Visions as the Director of the Respite program and then served on several boards of many human service organizations.
Faith loved to travel with her family.
Faith is survived by her loving husband of over 42 years, Albert W. Sandles and her daughter Abigail Beth Sandles.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 85 Elm Ave. Delmar, NY 12054 or to Wildwood Foundation Inc., 2995 C Curry Rd. Extension, Schenectady, NY 12303 in Faith's memory.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at 10:30 am at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 85 Elm Ave., Delmar, NY 12054. Calling hours will be Monday, January 5, 2015 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Church. Burial will be private at the request of the family.
