GLENVILLE, NY – Faith M. Villani, a resident of Glenville for 28 years, passed away on Tuesday, August 18, 2009, from a battle with cancer. Born in Albany in 1947, she graduated from Philip Schuyler High School in 1965 and attended Albany Business College. At the age of 19, she married Patrick J. Villani with whom she has been married for 42 years. Recently, Faith was working for United Parcel Service for the past nine years. She enjoyed classic cars and belonged to the Albany Rods & Kustoms Car Club since January, 1990 and the Capital District Cruisers Car Club. She was a member of the V.F.W. Post #8692 Ladies Auxiliary. Faith will be missed by many and never forgotten. In addition to her beloved husband, Faith is survived by her devoted children, Anthony Villani and Christina McAuliffe. She is the cherished grandmother of Zachary McAuliffe. Faith is also survived by one brother and two sisters.
Funeral services will be Friday morning at 10:00 a.m. at New Comer-Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will be Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the V.F.W. Post #8692 Ladies Auxiliary, P.O. Box 12083, Albany, NY 12212 in memory of Faith M. Villani.
