Faith S.(Noll) Tomisman

ALBANY – Faith S. (Noll) Tomisman, 69, passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2011 at the Julie Blair Nursing Home, after a long battle with lung and breast cancer.
Faith was born on June 19, 1941 in Albany and was the daughter of the late Frederick William and Gertrude Margaret (Hacker) Noll. She worked for the NYS Retirement System for 32 years, prior to that she worked for the City of Albany Comptrollers Office for five years. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, arts and crafts, and bingo. She loved going to Myrtle Beach and fishing.
Faith is survived by the love of her life of 43 years, Alfred K. Schmitt; her loving daughter, Joyce Christine (Tomisman) Jones; her brothers, Ronald Noll, John P. Noll, and Frederick Noll; her sister, Sandra Lorette; her cherished grandson, Zachary Ryan Jones and ten nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Richard Noll.
Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Calling hours will be held prior to the service from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
