Fanny "Fran"D. Lazinski

NISKAYUNA - Fanny "Fran" D. Lazinski, 67, passed away after a brief illness on Monday, August 10, 2015, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Fran was born on April 12, 1948 in Schenectady and was the daughter of the late William and Anna (Vitallo) Borchardt. She graduated from Mount Pleasant High School and worked for Clark Whitbeck Co. and Friendly Home Parties. She enjoyed sewing, baking and puppy sitting her grand"dog"ters, Nestle and Mocha.
Fran is survived by her devoted daughters, Laurie Lazinski and Cheryl (Michael) Zinnershine; her brother, William (Chris) Borchardt; her sister-in-law, Paula Borchardt and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 43 years, Richard "Dick" T. Lazinski, whom died on May 3, 2014. She was also predeceased by her sister, Wilda Palmo and her brother, Howard Borchardt.
A funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Calling hours will precede the service from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
The family would like to extend their sincere thanks and appreciation to the doctors and staff of Community Hospice for the care and support that was given to Fran.
The family request that no flowers be sent and to please make a memorial contribution to The Community Hospice, 295 Valley View Blvd., Rensselaer, NY 12144 in memory of Fran.
