COLONIE - Fernand G. "Jerry" Allie, 85, passed away on August 9th, 2011 at St. Peter's Hospital. Born in Manseau, Quebec, he was the son of the late Alina and Ernest Allie.

Jerry was a member of the 459th Bombardier Squadron of the AAF. He taught at Wells Central School, and then Phillip Livingston in Albany until 1986. He was best known as the man with a chuckle and a quick joke for everyone.

Jerry was predeceased by his wife Mary Jane, and siblings Rea, Yvette, Bernard, John and Roger.

He is survived his children, Barbara, Paul, JoAnn, Patricia, Mary Ann, Diane, Wayne, Sharon, Stanley and Carolyn; grandchildren, Collin, Erica, Grant, Gretchen, Gabriel, Sarah, Anna, Patrick, Paul, Katherine, Lindsey, Daniel, Thomas, Henry, Tristan, Emmaleigh, Ryan, Caitlin and Rachel; great grandson Nathan; sister Madeline and brother, Father Stanley.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 10:00 am at Christ Our Light Catholic Church, Loudonville. Calling hours will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie.
