SCHENECTADY- Ferne M. Moffatt, 85, passed away peacefully on March 17, 2021 at home with her family.
She was born on January 12, 1936 in New Brunswick, Canada, daughter of the late Hugh and Frances Scullion.
Ferne was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were the light of her life. She will be very dearly missed.
She is survived by her by her beloved husband of 66 years, Albert E. Moffatt; her children, Steve (Dona) Moffatt, Linda (Jack) Armitage, John (Sue) Moffatt, Pam (Rick) Zapfel; grandchildren, Hunter (Donelle), Tyler (Marissa), Katie (Shane), Robbie (Megan), Timothy, Molly, Trevor, Haley, Kim, Connor, Riley; great-grandchildren, Liam, Olivia, Teagan, Sophia, Weston; brother, Thomas (Shirley) Scullion; sister, Kathleen "Kay" Gardner.
Ferne was predeceased by her son Robert Moffatt in 1984 and her brothers, James Scullion and Carl Scullion.
Services will be private.
