COLONIE – Flor G. Morrissette, 81, passed away on Monday, January 3, 2011 at Glendale Nursing Home in Glenville.
Flor was born on January 29, 1929 in Waterbury, Conn. and was the daughter of the late Egnas and Aurora (Jodin) Marchesseault. She worked for Montgomery Wards and the Christmas Tree Shops.
Flor is survived by her loving daughter, Michelle Morrissette; her loving son, Mark (Patricia) Morrissette; her loving grandchildren, Amanda, Erika, and Robert Morrissette; her sisters, Loretta, Jeanette, and Theresa; her brothers, Ernest and Lou; many nieces and nephews and loving friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Roger Morrissette and her brother, Paul.
Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. Calling hours will precede the service from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
