Flora L. Doyle , 71, returned home to God on Saturday, December 5, 2015 with her loving family by her side.
Flora was born on January 17, 1944 and was the daughter of the late Clyde Woodard and Jenni (Travis) Woodard.
She was a long time employee of Diamond W. Products of Albany, and for the last 10 years a clerk in the produce department with Price Chopper in Mohawk Commons.
Flora was known for her feisty effervescent personality and her love for her family.
In addition to her parents Flora was predeceased by her siblings; Eunice, William and Dorothy.
Flora is survived by her son, Michael Doyle and Charles Bertolino Jr. of Scotia. Her daughter Kathleen and Russell Bender of Schenectady. She is the adored grandmother of; Jennifer and Dan Kelly of Rotterdam, Samantha Bender of Schenectady, Kevin and Laura Bender of Delmar and Michael Bender of Queensbury. She is the sister of Marguerite Quintrell of Largo, Fl. and Charlotte Seim of Scotia. She is also survived by the promise of her great grandson Landon Kelly who was born in June 2015, whom she cherished, her extended family Matthew and Nina Bertolino and family of Albany, Kevin Conkling and family of Schenectady and several nieces and nephews, especially Dave (Kaye) Gillette.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation PO Box 650309, Dallas, TX. 75265-0309 or to the American Heart Association - Albany 445 New Karner Rd. Albany, NY 12205 in Flora's memory.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Albany, New York on Thursday December 10, 2015 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A funeral service will be held Thursday December 10, 2015 at 7:00 pm at New Comer Funeral Home. Burial will be private.
