Floreen D. Chapman
December 20, 1928 — May 22, 2014
Floreen D. Chapman, 85, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 22, 2014 at Samaritan Hospital with her daughter by her side.
She worked as a Group Leader with Sterling Winthrop until her retirement.
Floreen is predeceased by her grandson, Curtis Chapman-Smith.
Floreen is the mother of her four children; Delores (Leon) Conrad, Rebecca Chapman, Margaret Lacy and Kathya (Nathaniel Osborne)Chapman. She is the adored grandmother of Tyrone Chapman, Samona (Mike) Gray, Damon Walker and Rukiyat Chapman Gilbert. She is the great grandmother of six and the sister of Sadie (Theodore) Williams. She is also survived by a host of close family members.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Rubin Dialysis Center, 1850 Peoples Ave., Troy, NY 12180 in Floreen's memory.
Funeral Services will be on Friday, May 30, 2014 at 12:00 pm at Bethel Baptist Church, 2165 5th Ave., Troy, NY 12180. Calling hours will precede the funeral from 10 to 12 at church. Interment will follow the service in Elmwood Hill Cemetery, Troy.
