LATHAM – Florence G. Scott, 65, passed away on Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at St. Peter's Hospital.
Florence was born on March 2, 1945 in Albany and was the daughter of the late Stephen and Grace (Russo) Satalino. She devoted her life to her husband, her family and her faith. She lived her life with the fullest appreciation for its many gifts, and did so with grace and elegance. She reminded us all of how precious life is and that the essence of life is giving.
The burden's she had to bear in this life would seem unfair to many, but she never complained, and through her courage, drive and single-minded focus, she set an example for how to persevere through difficult challenges.
Always finding the positive, those who were touched by her understood the quality of her existence. Her love for everyone and everything made her a magnet for others as she unwittingly brought out the best in everyone.
