Florence L. Daniels

ALBANY – Florence L. Daniels, 86, affectionately known as "Aunt Flo", passed away at Teresian House Nursing Home in Albany on Friday, April 20, 2012.
She was the daughter of the late Emil and Emily Michaelis and wife of the late Frank R. Daniels. She was born and raised in Auburn, Washington and moved to Mt. Vernon, NY in the 1960's and had resided in the Albany area for the past seven years. She owned and operated the Westchester Christian Book Store in White Plains, NY for many years before retiring in 1992. Florence enjoyed cooking, entertaining, gardening and attending church.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Colonie Alliance Church, 32 Lapham Drive, Albany, NY (Colonie). A calling hour will precede the service from 10 to 11 a.m. on Friday at the church. Interment will be held at a later date at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Horseheads, NY.
