Floyd C. Mcrae

Albany, NY - Floyd C. McRae, 80, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 19, 2022. Born in
Newark, NJ he was the son of the late Helen Monk and Leroy Gilmore.
Floyd enjoyed fishing and spending quality time with his extended family and many friends. For
many years Floyd worked at Adirondack Trailways.
Floyd is survived by his sons Theodore McRae, Freddie McRae, Robert McRae (Melissa), and
John Clemens, sister Marie Epps, brothers Howard Williams (Frankie), Nathan Williams and
Bobby Green, loving grandchildren Britney, Brandon, Jordan, and Tyshuron, great grandchildren
Cardell and Carter, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his parents, sisters Elise Jackson, Marion Monk, Gwen Morgan, and his
wife Darlene McRae.
A calling hour will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2022 from 12pm-1pm at New Comer Cremations
& Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie, NY 12205. A memorial service will begin at 1pm at the
funeral home. Following the services, family and friends will be gathering at the Fairfield Inn
Albany Airport @ 168 Wolf Rd. Albany, from 3-5pm.
