Fowler J. Riddick

MENANDS – Fowler J. Riddick, 77, of Menands, passed away on Saturday August 7, 2010 at his residence. He was born in Gatesville, NC and was the son of the late Fowler and Lucy Cisco Riddick.
Fowler had served in the US Air Force from 1952 through 1956. He had worked for Albany Medical Center, the Trading Port and the US Post Office. Fowler was the former deputy comptroller for the City of Albany before retiring in 1999. He was an active member of the American Legion Post 1610 and Masonic Lodge #78. Fowler was a former Albany County Legislator and served as Trustee for the First Church of Albany.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Mable L. Steele Riddick, sister Cleo Johnston, nieces, Cheryl Lynn Riddick, Tiffany Nicole Riddick and several other nieces; Godson, John Michael Clements and many dear friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Memorial services on Saturday morning at 11:00 at First Church of Albany. Interment will follow the service at Memory Gardens.
