LOUDONVILLE- Frances A. Parvana, 86, of Loudonville, passed away on Wednesday June 25, 2008 at Julie Blair Nursing Home after a long illness.
She was born in Carovina, Italy and was the daughter of the late Rocco and Pompea Scaligeri. Frances was predeceased by her husband Patrick P. Parvana in 2005. She was employed as a secretary with Sterling Winthrop Laboratory in Rensselaer for over 41 years, retiring several years ago.
Frances is survived by her son, George Parvana of Loudonville; her sisters, Susan Ogborn and Anne Moran both of Colonie and her grandchildren, Rocco, Camille, Patricia and Michael Parvana all of Colonie; seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial on Friday morning at 9:00 at St. Pius X Church, Loudonville. There will be no calling hours. Interment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105 in memory of Frances A. Parvana.
