COLONIE – Frances A. Van Zandt, 86, of Colonie, passed away peacefully on Saturday October 11, 2008 at the Inn of Community Hospice after a brief illness.
She was born in Poultney, VT and was the daughter of the late James T. and Anna Flynn Butler. From the age of 5, Fran knew she wanted to be a nurse. Fran was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and friend who will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
She was predeceased in 1988 by her husband, Charles Van Zandt.
