Frances Beach

Colonie- Frances E. Beach, 97, of Colonie, passed away on Wednesday May 11, 2005 at the Inn of Community Hospice. She was born in Bridgeport, CT and was the daughter of the late John and Agnes Frolish.
Frances had worked for Ballston Knitting Mill, Picotte Properties and as a retail clerk at Sears for several years. She enjoyed tending to her garden, baking and traveling to many foreign countries. Frances was predeceased by her husband James Beach and her siblings, Ludwig, John, and Agnes Frolish, Mildred Kusick and Mary Handy.
She is the beloved mother of Elaine (Gordon) Mitchell, James (Bonnie) Beach and Dennis (Linda) Beach. She is the sister of Elizabeth, Bertha and Frank Folish. Sister in law of Mary Frolish. She is the grandmother of Susan (Tom) Mink, Gordon (Luz) Mitchell Jr., Bonnie Mitchell, Deborah (Doug) Sprague, Christina Beach, Jeffrey Beach, Kimberly (Elisandro) Feliz Matos, Jennifer and Danielle Beach. Great grandmother of Corey and Tarah Mink, Sharlyn Mitchell, Kodi Sprague and Myla Marie Quinn. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be Monday morning at 8:45 at NewComer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave) then to Our Lady of Mercy Church at 9:30 where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be Sunday from 4 to 8 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Albany, 445 New Karner Rd. Albany NY 12205 in memory of Frances E. Beach.
