Frances "Frankie" Clancy has left her earthly dwelling on Thursday, November 19 to join her beloved husband James William Clancy Jr. who predeceased her on October 25, 1982. She was born in Weathersby, MS (now Mendenhall) to the late Maybell (Purser) May and Lish May. She was predeceased by her sisters Louise (Eugene) Coleman and Mary McMullen, her brothers Herbert D. May and Earl May, her brother in-laws Ray Sullivan and Richard Clancy, her sister in-laws Elizabeth Clancy and Catherine Porter.
She is survived by her sisters Gladys "Billie" Sullivan, her son James Francis (Anne) Clancy, daughter in law Ann Marie Clancy of Clifton Park, her granddaughter Kathryn Clancy, her good friend Sharon Clancy and many nieces and nephews. Frankie worked many years as a store clerk at the local pharmacy in West Roxbury,MA. Family and friends will miss her feisty Southern spirit and warm heart.
There will be no visitation hours. A private ceremony will take place at St. Joseph's Cemetery, 900 LaGrange Street, West Roxbury, MA.
