Niskayuna – Frances L.H. Wall, 83, passed away peacefully Saturday July 6th at home surrounded by her loving family after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She never complained and fought with grace and dignity every step of the way. Born in July 14, 1929 in Bronx, NY she is the daughter of the late Raymond and Esther (Ganly) Hamilton.
Frances loved nature, she enjoyed gardening and watching the birds at the birdfeeder. She was a girl scout leader, active with the Niskayuna Historical Society and also loved politics, acting as a polling inspector in Niskayuna for many years. Frances, along with her husband of 40 years, ran Don Wall Nationwide Insurance Agency in Niskayuna. She was a three time cancer survivor, who could be found at The Making Strides for Breast Cancer Walk every Fall wearing her "Survivor" shirt proudly. She loved dogs, especially her boys Jordan and Kobe. Frances' favorite thing to do was talk and spend time with her family whom she was extremely proud of.
Frances is predeceased by her husband Donald E. Wall, her beloved granddaughter Shawna E. Davenport, her brother Walter T. Hamilton, and her parents.
Frances is survived by her sister and best friend Ruth Roland, her children; Donna (Jim) Vincent, Patricia (Rick) Grindley, Ray (Mary Anne Stafford) Wall, Fran (Joel Fuoco) Wall, Marcia Tolive, Julie (Hon. Paul) Davenport, her grandchildren; Marla (Garrick), Christopher, Caitlin, Kerrie, Shannon (Noah), Kristen, Patrick, Kelly, Sarah, Amanda, Claire, Donald (Rie), Brian, Michael and her great-grandchildren; Trent, Hunter, and Hannah. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday July 10th at 11 a.m. at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. (Rt. 155 south of Central Ave.) Calling hours will be from 4 p.m. to 7p.m. Tuesday July 9th.
