COLONIE – Frances M. Flatters, 72, passed away on Monday, April 21, 2014 at St. Peter's Hospital.
Frances was born on July 10, 1941 in Germantown, NY and was the daughter of the late Francis D. and Dorothy M. Turner. She was a switchboard operator and receptionist for the former Child's Hospital in Albany for many years before retiring. She enjoyed gardening, reading, nature, and music.
Frances is survived by her son, Richard (Joanne); her grandchildren, Katrina, Shawn and Lee, and several cousins. She will be missed by her many friends at Bishop Broderick and her dear friend, Mary.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. A calling hour will precede the service from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.
