COLONIE- Fran E. Segolo Stafford, 74, of Colonie, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday November 12, 2008 after a long illness.
She was born on August 21, 1934 in London England and was the daughter of the late Joseph P. and Teresa Narduzzo Segolo. Fran came to the United States in 1948 and became an American citizen. She had attended Grace Fellowship Church in Latham since it's inception.
Fran is the beloved wife of fifty years to Calvin E. Stafford. She is the devoted mother of Gregory Stafford and his wife Kay Lynn of Park City, UT and Kurt Stafford and his wife Camille of Layton, UT. She is the cherished sister of Joseph Segolo of Southhampton, England, Teresa Molineaux of Rennselaer and Mrs. Thomas (Vera) Glenn of McKownville. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Monday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at New Comer-Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt.155-south of Central Ave). Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie. At the request of the family, memorial contributions are suggested to Community Hospice of Albany, 445 New Karner Rd.
