Francesca "Franca" Maiorana, 81, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Friday August 12, 2022.
Born in Mazzarra Sant'Andrea, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Francesco and Maria Navarra.
Franca was a talented seamstress, a profession she did until her retirement from Spector's Clothing. She loved to cook and enjoyed time with her family. She was a doting grandmother to her two grandsons. Franca was witty and had a great sense of humor.
In addition to her parents, Franca was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Giovanni, and her six brothers and sisters.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her daughters Tina Rothaupt and Maria (Darin) Samaha, grandsons Brian Jr., and Connor Rothaupt, as well as extended family and friends.
The family would like to thank the staff at both St. Peter's Hospital, St. Peter's Rehab facility and St. Peter's Hospice for the care and compassion shown to Franca.

A visitation will be held on Saturday August 20th from 9am-10am, with a Mass to follow at 10am, at Church of St. Clare, 1947 Central Ave, Colonie NY
Interment will take place in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery.
