Francesco's favorite pastime was gardening, taking long walks, making inlaid furniture and spending cherished time with his beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. After retiring he enjoyed traveling to his home in Sicily, Italy and because of his loving devotion to our Lady Mary he made several pilgrimages to Fatima and Lourdes.
