Francine P. Rivers

Francine P. Rivers, 74, wife of the late Glenn Rivers Sr., of Colonie, NY passed away peacefully on June 25, 2023 at home with her family at her side.

Born September 16, 1948 in Albany, NY, she was the daughter of the late William Kramer Sr. and Frances (Genovese) Kramer.

Prior to her retirement, she worked as a Program Manager at the Dayhaven Adult Day Care Center in Schenectady, NY.

Francine will be remembered by her family as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great- grandmother. She had a wonderful sense of humor, loved to be with her family, especially the grandkids, where she would have many of them on the edge of their seats with her stories and antics. Francine will also be remembered for taking great care of her family over the years, sacrificing much for others and expecting nothing in return. She will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those that truly knew and loved her, especially her son Glenn.

Francine is survived by her son, Glenn Rivers Jr. (Karen); her grandchildren: William (Heather), Dyllan (Sara), Crystal, Marcello (Bear), Sarah and 18 great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Glenn Sr., she is predeceased by her son, William Rivers; her daughter, Frances Heppelle; her granddaughter, Francine Heppelle; brothers: John Kramer and William Kramer Jr.

At the request of Francine, she did not want calling hours at a funeral home, but rather family and friends are invited to share a prayer at her burial site located at Memory Gardens on Thursday, June 29th, 2023 at 11:00 a.m.

In true fashion for her love of children, in lieu of flowers, donations in her name can be made to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
