EAST GREENBUSH---Francis L. DiMauro, 76, of East Greenbush, NY passed away on October 1, 2022 at his home surrounded by family.
He was born July 4, 1946 in Troy, NY, the son of the late Frank DiMauro and Anita Fording.
Franny attended schools in Penns Grove, NJ. He later worked for many years as a Millwright for the Millwrights and Machinery Erectors Local Union out of Wilmington, DE. He enjoyed listening to music, having coffee, watching the birds and taking care of his many plants.
He is survived by his children: Francis Jr. of Maryland, Scott of Gainsville, MO and daughter Nicole of Rensselaer, NY; seven grandchildren: Brandy and Charles of MD, Michael and Peter (Karianne) of Rotterdam, Tori, Dalton and Taylor of Rensselaer, NY; great grandchildren Austin, McKenna, Rylee and Robyn; siblings: Jackie Cassidy of Street, MD, Dolores Hryckowian of Mechanicville, NY, James Nicholes of East Greenbush, NY and Linda Frank of Schenectady, NY. Also survived by several nieces and nephews and his lifelong friend Beverly Kimball.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister Sandy Ottinger and brother Dale DiMauro.
Relatives and friends may call Saturday October 15, 2022 from 10 a.m. to 12 Noon at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet, NY 12189. All are invited to attend his funeral service following at 12 Noon.
