TROY - Francis "Frank" E. Miles, 81, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at Ellis Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.
Frank was born in Troy, son of the late Leon and Elizabeth (Latourelle) Miles. He was a construction laborer for Laborers Local 190 in Glenmont for over 35 years, before retiring 1998. He continued working at various jobs until he completely retired in 2003. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, going to the casinos, but most especially, spending time with his family.
Franks is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Isabella (Mantello) Miles; his loving children, Tina (Jeffrey) West of Troy, Frank (Anne Kearns) Miles of Cohoes, Theresa (Allen) Bruce of Castleton, and Vincent Miles of Colonie; nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his brother-in-law, Dominic (Janet) Mantello. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings, Robert, Rosemary, Leon, and Jack.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Albany Medical Center and Schenectady Rehabilitation Center for their loving care they gave to Frank.
Per Frank's request, services will be private with his loving family.
