Francis H. Roberts

Francis "Bud" Roberts, 92, passed away peacefully on September 8, 2015 at his home with his family by his side.
Francis was born in Troy, NY to the late Harold and Rosella Roberts.
He graduated from Siena College in 1943 with an Accounting Degree.
Francis worked for New York State, with the majority of his employment with the Taxation and Finance department.
In addition to his parents, Francis was predeceased by his wife, Marion Shirley Roberts.
Francis is survived by his wife, Marea Reid-Roberts; his children, Paul (Melanie) Roberts, Nancy (Daniel) Lewis, Ellen (Steve) Lesniewski, Carol (Gary) Wilkinson; his step children, Karen (Edward) Blanchard and Diane (Paul) Tarbay. He is also survived by his sisters Rosella (Edward) Slauson, Corinne Barclay; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to The Community Hospice 295 Valley View Blvd. Rensselaer, NY 12144 in Francis's memory.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on September 12, 2015 at 9:00 am at All Saints Catholic Church, 16 Homestead Street, Albany, NY 12203. Calling hours will by Friday, September 11, 2015 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. Interment will follow the Mass in Memory Gardens in Colonie.
