Francis J. Busold

COLONIE- Francis J. Busold, 71, formerly of Westerlo, passed away on Monday September 15, 2008 at St. Peters Hospital after a long battle with cancer. He was born in Albany and was the son of the late Frank and Helene Mathias Busold.
Frank was employed for 37 years with New York State Department of Tax & Finance, retiring in 1995. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing golf. Frank was formerly involved with the Boys Scouts of America.
He is the beloved husband of Nora Knaggs Busold. He is the father of Jeffrey (Deborah) Busold and Karen Clifford. He is the brother of Alfred J. Busold. Cherished grandfather of Michelle Meade, David Meade and Samantha Busold. Uncle of Christopher (Rany) Busold.
Funeral services will be Friday at 12 noon at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will be Thursday from 4 to 8 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memorys Garden. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Albany, 445 New Karner Rd.
