Francis "Frank" Mariani, 98, of Colonie, passed away on January 30, 2021 at Evergreen Commons.
Born in Albany, he was the son of the late Daniel and Mary (Donato) Mariani.
Francis worked as a Truck Driver for Masters/Asbestos Eastern. He was an avid gardener and an excellent cook, he loved to make weekly family dinners.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife of 57 years, Mary, as well as several brothers and sisters.
Frank is survived by his children, Jim (Don LeClair) Mariani, Mary Ann (Michael) Macri, Frank (Elena) Mariani, David (Angela) Mariani, John (Mary) Mariani, grandchildren Michael (Louise) Mariani, James Mariani Jr, Michael (Cara) Macri, Diane Macri, Rosemarie (Eric) Sweeney, Christina Mariani, Amanda (Tyler) Bierbower, Erica Mariani, Bobby Mariani, Johnny Mariani, Nikki Mariani, great grandchildren, Emma and Sydney Mariani, Artie, Edie and Anna Macri, Madelyn and Gemma Sweeney, Harper and Miles Bierbower, and his brother Mike (Connie) Mariani.
Services will be private, a Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
