Francis J. Porcaro
October 28, 1937 — December 17, 2016
Colonie - Francis J. "Frank" Porcaro, 79, peacefully passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2016. Frank was the son of the late Leonard and Mary Porcaro and was the devoted husband of 56 years to Patricia (Gardy) Porcaro.
Frank enjoyed spending time with his family. For many years he was involved in many capacities with Colonie Little League.
Along with his loving wife, Pat, Frank will be dearly missed by his girls: Lori (Michael) Fusco, Lynda (John) Holbrook, Karen Porcaro, and Tracy Porcaro; grandsons: Cody Parker, Dillon Catlin, Michael Fusco, and Joey Colfels; siblings: Leonard (Anita) Porcaro, Marie (the late Louis) Padula, and John Porcaro; along with many nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends.
In addition to his parents, Frank is predeceased by his siblings: Vincent, Caroline, and Virginia ( the late Ed) McCarthy.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd, Colonie, on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at 10:00 am at Christ Our Light Catholic Church. The burial will follow Mass at St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands, NY.
