Francis Gerard Rhatigan

ALTAMONT- Francis G. "Jerry" Rhatigan, 79, passed away on May 22, 2017 at Albany Medical Center.
He was born on April 3, 1938 son of the late Francis P. and Edna G. (Menriski) Rhatigan in Oceanside, NY.
Jerry worked as a Parts Supervisor at Grumman Aerospace in Bethpage, NY until his retirement at which time he relocated to the West Coast of Florida and Altamont, NY.
Jerry was a lover of life, he will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor, charismatic personality and fabulous sense of style. He was a devoted father and grandfather, loved sports, horse racing, music and dancing. Jerry also shared a deep compassion for animals. He will be deeply missed by all who loved him.
He is survived by his children, Kathleen, Patricia (Allen), Kevin (Tom), Craig (Rose), Colleen (Marty); grandchildren, Daniel, Tyler, Jake, Emily, Evan, Eileen, Nate, Murray and his companion, Kathryn and many friends.
He was predeceased by his brother, Donald Rhatigan.
