ROTTERDAM- Francis A. "Frank" San Soucie, 83, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 surrounded by his loving family.
Frank was born in Rotterdam, NY to the late William and Corina San Soucie on August 7, 1934. Frank began his career as an electrician with General Electric. He went on to become a licensed union electrical contractor for over 40 years. He was greatly respected within his field, and will be remembered for his work ethic. Frank loved auto racing, and rebuilding antique farm tractors and equipment.
Frank is predeceased by his brothers, Willie and Norman San Soucie.
He is survived by his beloved children, Edward (Pat) San Soucie, Franki (Bob) Beard, Kara Pack, and Gayle (Craig) Thorsland, his granddaughter, Sarah (Joey)Truelove-Elmer, his siblings, Irene Dowd, Claire D'Avignon, Dolores Christensen, Michael (Betty) San Soucie, and his fellow members of the Rotterdam Elks, Lodge #2157.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205, on Sunday, September 24, 2017 from 1:00pm -3:00pm.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that a donation be made in Frank's name to the charity of your choice.
