Latham- Francisco Rios, 89, of Jayuya, Puerto Rico, passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2017.
Francisco (Papi), was born on October 4, 1927 in Jayuya, Puerto Rico. He moved to New York City, where he met his wife of 66 years, Juanita (Ruiz) Rios. He fathered three children, Ariel Rios, Nilda (Rios) Rapalo, and Zandra Rios-Rivera. He retired at age 72 and relocated to Latham. He passed away in his home in the care and company of his family.
He is survived by his wife, his daughters, his son-in-law, Luis Rapalo; his grandchildren, Francisco P. Rios, Vanessa Taylor Rivera, Daniel Rivera, Francisco R. Rapalo, and Martha Rapalo; and his great-granddaughter, Chloe Taylor Rivera.

His widow, children, and family pray he will rest in peace.
Calling hours will be held from 9am-12pm on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at New Comer Funerals & Cremations, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie, NY. A service will follow at 12pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memory Gardens, Colonie.
