LOUDONVILLE –Franceso "Frank" Vaccaro, 90, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at Albany Medical Center after a brief illness. Born in Brooklyn, he was the son of the late Aniello and Carmela (DiDomenico) Vaccaro.
Frank served his country in the Army during World War II. He worked for Metro Cab for twenty three years, and Foxy Amusements for five. Frank enjoyed collecting seashells, golfing, playing cards, and horseracing. He volunteered to help anyone in need, and was loved by everyone his life touched.
Frank will be missed by his beloved companion of 34 years, Naomi Latina; her children Deborah (Thomas) Greco, and David (Natalina) Latina; brothers Neal (Josephine) Vaccaro of FL, and Stephen Vaccaro of Brooklyn; grandchildren Elizabeth, Jennifer, Melissa, Jessica, Alexandria and David; five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, Frank was predeceased by his siblings Andrew Vaccaro and Camille Beach.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at 1:30 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie.
