SCHENECTADY – Frank B. O'Donnell, 59, passed away on Monday, May 13, 2013 at Ellis Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

Frank was born in Albany, NY and was a Navy Veteran from the Vietnam Era. He was a member of the Laborer's Local 190 before retiring in 2003. He derived most joy from spending time with his family, friends and his loyal K-9 companion, Beauty.

Frank is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Sonie (Garhartt) O'Donnell; son, Jay Hammond; sisters, Kathleen O'Donnell, Carol Gerasia and Mary Ellen Nardolillo and also several nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late John F. O'Donnell and Anne M. (Restifo) O'Donnell.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Monday at St. Pius X Church, 23 Crumitie Road, Loudonville. Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie on Sunday from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. Interment Albany Rural Cemetery in Menands.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Ave, Menands, NY 12204.
