August 26, 1936 — May 12, 2021

Albany- Frank G. DeLong, 84, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, May 12, 2021. Born in Albany he was the son of the late Gunnard and Julia DeLong. Frank is survived by his wife Marsha (DiNuzzo) DeLong.

Frank retired from the Albany County Sheriff's Department after 38 years of service. Frank enjoyed riding his motorcycle and was a member of the Blue Knights.

In addition to his wife, Frank is survived by his son Darren DeLong (Kristen) as well as his grandchildren, Paige, Jack and Sydney. He is also survived his nieces Virginia Doyle, Alice Brown, Nancy Roselan (Harry) and his great nieces and nephews.

Frank is predeceased by his two sisters; Martha Pezzula (Armand) and Georgianna Lashoff and step brother Earl Austin.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Reeta for the love and care given to Frank.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Albany County.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, May 17, 2021 from 4pm-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet, NY 12189. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday at 10:30am at the funeral home with interment following at St. Patrick's Cemetery.
