ALBANY Frank J. Fanuele, 79, passed away on May 23, 2018.
He was born in New York City the son of the late Dominick and Angela (Angerame) Fanuele.
Frank received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from RPI. He began his career at General Electric and later continued at MTI in Latham until his retirement. After retiring Frank continued to work at Brown and Sharpe in Rhode Island and Robotic Vision Systems in Long Island. He was a hard worker and had a life long passion for learning. He had also obtained several patents throughout his professional career.
He was a devoted father and grandfather. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul and a man of great faith. He will be deeply missed.
Frank is survived by his loving children, Diane (Lou) Fanuele, Jeffrey Fanuele, Gregory Fanuele and Mark (Michele) Fanuele and by his cherished grandchildren Ryan and Kayla Fanuele and many cousins and friends.
Frank was predeceased by his former wife, Patricia Fanuele and his sister, Frances Fanuele.
Calling hours will be held from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie. A funeral service to celebrate Frank's life will begin at 12:00 PM following visitation. A graveside service will be held at St. Agnes Cemetery immediately following services.
