Frank Gratto

SCHENECTADY- Frank J. Gratto, 72, of Schenectady, passed away suddenly at his home on Monday September 19, 2005. He was born in Averill Park and was the son of the late Frank and Anna Gratto.
Frank served in the US Navy during the Korean War aboard the USS Wm C. Lawe. He was a sales representative for Sid Harvey's Inc in Albany for over 35 years. More recently he was working for Enterprise Car Rental. Frank was a member of the Guilderland Elks and the Fuller Rd. Fire Dept.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 37 years, Melissa Gratto; his children, Joseph Rivers of Clifton Park, Dacia Welch of Martinez, CA., Derek ( Maureen) Gratto of Saratoga, Daryl (Nancy) Gratto of Greenfield and David (Tina) Gratto of Gloversville. He is the brother of Gracelee Gratto of Clifton Park, David Dessinger of Waterford and the late Norman Dessinger. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Friday morning at 11:00 at NewComer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will be Thursday from 5 to 8pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memorys Garden.
