ALBANY – Frank J. Arnold Jr., 58, of Albany passed away suddenly on Saturday January 21, 2012 at Albany Medical Center.
He was born in Albany and was a graduate of St. Joseph's Academy. Frank served in Vietnam with the US Army. He was employed for 33 years with New York State Department of Criminal Justice and Social Services, retiring in 2008. Frank was a former member of the Melvin Rd. VFW Post. He enjoyed fishing, camping and spending time with his loving family. Frank was an avid fan of the New York Yankees.
He is the son of Frank and Mona Arnold Sr. Frank is the beloved wife of 37 years to Deborah Hahn Arnold. He is the devoted father of Melissa (Tom) Martin and Joseph P. Arnold. He is the brother of Diane (Jim) Cummings, Suzanne (Barry) Rosbeck and Gerald (Tina) Arnold. He is the cherished grandfather of Tommy and Kaitlyn Martin. He is also survived by his Uncle Butch, Aunt Cookie, Aunt Trudy and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Thursday morning at 9:15 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie then to Mater Christi Parish at 10:00 where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4 to 7 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Saratoga National VA Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 440 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY 12205.
